At 2:16, car #26-GTS Saleen S7R, class leader, into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: Terry Borcheller, problems with right front lug nut. Car #3-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (Fellows) takes the lead in class.
Frank Biela (#2-P Audi R8) (about race
conditions) “There’s lots of rubber on the racetrack, I
couldn’t go flat out.”
At 2:20, car #51-P Panoz LMP1 Roadster
S, overall leader, into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change:
Franck Lagorce. Car #1-P Audi R8 (Kristensen) takes the overall
lead.
At 2:24, car #11-P675 Lola B2K/40/Judd into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: Steven Knight. There will be a 20-second penalty on the next stop for too many people helping the driver over the wall. At 2:25, car #42-GT BMW M3 GTR into the pits. Tires and fuel, driver change: Jörg Müller. race conditions) “Rubber build up is not too bad, pretty normal
for this course. There was a silver Porsche dopping oil on the
racing line. The track was very good for the first 10 or 15 laps,
but slowly getting greasier and greasier.”

will be a stop and go penalty for speeding in the pits.

in class. The #26-GTS car is smoking from the rear when slowing
for corners.

C5-R) “There’s a lotta slippin and slidin goin on out
there.”
