At 3:18, #26-GTS Saleen S7R lowers the fastest time to 2:01.804 At 3:19, #22-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS betters their time with a 2:07.268 At 3:21, #26-GTS Saleen S7R sets the fastest lap in class at 2:00.552. The #4-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R is a close second at 2:01.886. At 3:26, #23-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS (Maassen) takes the pole away from team car #22-GT with a 2:07.055. At 3:28, #23-GT Porsche 911 GT3-RS lowers the time of 2:06.763, a new record in class. At 3:30, checkered flag. #3-GTS Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (Fellows) sets the fastest lap in class with a 2:00.444, moving the #26-GTS to second place. This is (provisionally) the seventh pole for driver Ron Fellows, third in a row at Sebring, and second in a row this season. For driver Sascha Maassen, this would be his third ALMS pole and his first at Sebring. ALMS - P900 and P675 qualification session 1: At 3:40, green flag. At 3:44, #2-P Audi R8 (Pirro) sets the fastest lap with a time of 1:49.110. At 4:00, checkered flag. The top three in class: #2-P - 1:49.110, #1-P - 1:49.477, #38-P - 1:49.973 On pole for the P675 class is the #11-P675 Lola B2K/40/Nissan with driver Claudia Huertgen (2:03.600). This is the first time the P675 class has been sanctioned by the ALMS at Sebring. In the P900 class, provisionally, this is Audi's eleventh straight ALMS prototype pole, and the second in a row at Sebring. For driver Emanuele Pirro this is his first ALMS pole. |
