Law Gets Rolling in 2001 American Le Mans Season

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 15, 2001 (Sebring, FL) - Darren Law will be driving in his first American Le Mans race of the 2001 season this weekend at the Superflo 12 Hours of Sebring.

Law will be aboard the #98 Kelly-Moss Racing Porsche GT3R, along with fellow GT drivers Cort Wagner and Rick Polk.  Law is anxious to put in a great performance for his new team and co-drivers.

"Kelly-Moss is a great racing organization," Law said.  "I look forward to driving with Cort again.  We had a great time at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona."

The #98 car's second qualifying run was cut short this afternoon by a transmission problem. Therefore, the team will use the first qualifying run, set yesterday by Wagner, which puts the Kelly-Moss car 11th in the GT class on the starting grid.

"Although we didn't get a second chance to better our qualifying time, I think we have a great shot at winning.  The GT class is very competitive, but I have a solid car and a great team."

The 49th Annual Superflo 12 Hours of Sebring can be seen live Saturday on Speedvision, beginning at 10:30 a.m. EST.
