Qualifying Time Disallowed for Fellows Corvette at Sebring

QUALIFYING TIME DISALLOWED FOR CORVETTE TEAM

The qualifying time posted by the #3 Chevrolet Corvette C5-R in Wednesday's provisional pole qualifying for the Superflo 12 Hours At Sebring has been disallowed due to a technical infraction.
Officials of Professional Sports Car Racing, the sanctioning body for the American Le Mans Series, said that the car did not meet minimum weight specifications when it was inspected following qualifying.

The car, driven by Ron Fellows, had been the provisional fastest qualifier in the GTS class. It will be allowed to re-qualify on Thursday.
